I would like to raise a question today as we think together. Are you and I living in the center of God's will? I can just hear some- one saying "How can we know God's will?" I truly believe that if we are interested in knowing God's will for our lives he will reveal it to us in no uncertain terms. But we have to do certain things in order for that to happen We have to be still long enough for his Spirit to be able to speak to our spirit. We need to just sit ourselves down and put all distracting thoughts out of our minds and give God a chance to have a few moments with us. Is that too much to suggest? I really don't think so. We find the time for absolutely anything else that we want to do. But we hesitate when the suggestion is made to just, "Be still and know that I am God" as the scriptures advise.
If it helps to center your mind on an artists drawing regardless of what it might be, by all means do that. Whatever helps do it. and I
predict fantastic results. If you don't hear from God I'll be the most surprised person in the universe. I don't usually make such predictions, but this is an exception. Will you try it with me? I think we might both be surprised at the result.
The scriptures tell us that "God is Spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." The surest and best way to do that is to quiet our hearts and minds and center our thoughts on God, who is above all and in all.
This is my Thought for today. I challenge you and me to give it a try and see if both of us won't be surprised by the results.
